Dosimetry performance of LiF(Mg, Cu, P) thermoluminescence detector
- 1. Nuclear Power Institute of China, Chengdu (China)
Description
The LiF(Mg, Cu, P) thermoluminescence detector (TLD) is used in personal monitoring by Nuclear Power Institute of China for the first time. In order to prove the TLD performance to be satisfied with the monitoring demand of radiation protection, the TLD was irradiated in the standard radiation field and its dosimetry performance was researched. The experiment result shows that the linearity, the energy response and the value of quantity test meet the daily personal and environmental monitoring work. It can provide a reliable guarantee for radiation monitoring of the staff, the public and the environment. (authors)
