Description
The 20Ne+159Tb reaction was studied at Esub(lab)=294MeV with the KX-ray method. Partial cross-sections dσ(Zsub(PLF)),Zsub(TLF))dΩsub(PLF) were obtained for the quasi-elastic as well as deep-inelastic components. By measuring particle-particle KX-ray triple coincidences it was possible to correct the results for charged particle evaporation from the heavy residual nucleus. Primary cross-sections were constructed for the quasi-elastic as well as the strongly damped (deep-inelastic) components. Large cross-sections are found for a component in which light particles only are emitted. These possibly are the remnants of deep-inelastic processes. (author). 16 refs., 7 figs
