Operational interlock system for LEHIPA

  • 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

In order to synchronize and control different sub systems of LEHIPA an Operational Interlock System (OPIS) is being developed in Electronics Division, BARC. It is a VME64X based module with sixteen digital inputs and sixteen digital outputs. The module can give synchronized output pulses which will be used as reference signals by sub systems. Provision to transmit sixteen optical outputs and receive sixteen optical inputs also has been provided in-the module. This paper describes the design and philosophy of operation of OPIS system
