Revitalization of fresh air supplier unit on ventilation system (KLA12) multi purpose reactor G.A. Siwabessy

Description
It has been done re-vitalization of fresh air supply to the ventilation system of the G.A. Siwabessy reactor. The unit of fresh air supplier in reactor RSG-GAS ventilation system serves to distribute the cool air into reactor building. This unit had been operated for more than 28 years since 1987. From the operation sheet data, this unit has decreased work performance, it is indicated by the decrease in air flow rate to 18,000 m3/h from the ideal condition of air entering 22.000-28.000 m3/h. Moreover, the physical damage on the casing causing a leakages in the unit. To restore the system's performance, so the revitalization of the fresh air supplier are including the replacement of casing, air filter, fan motors, blower, cooling pipe unit. The results of revitalization's test can be ensured that the fresh air supplier unit can be operated safely and fulfill the specifications, amounting to 27,335.88 m3/h. (author)
