Nuclear and charge quadrupole deformation parameters of 150Nd

Description
In order to study the ratio of the nuclear and charge quadrupole deformation parameters of 150Nd in a conventional way, 150Nd(α,α') excitation function and angular distribution measurements were performed in the energy range where the Coulomb-nuclear interference takes place. As a result of a preliminary analysis, the nuclear deformation parameters was found to be β2n = 0.23 ± 0.02 giving a ratio of β2n/β2c = 0.80 ± 0.10 in good agreement with previous results.
