Phase formation in the Ba3-xSrxY(BO3)3 (0<x<3)

Description
Variable composition phases were synthesized for the first time within Ba3-xSrxY(BO3)3, system, 0<x<3 by the solid-phase reactions. Two series of solid solutions crystallizing following various structural types were found by means of the X-ray diffractometry (D-8 Advance diffractometer, CuKα-radiation, graphite monochromator) to form within the studied concentration range. One determined the crystallographic characteristics of the synthesized phases
Abstract (Russian)
Методом твердофазных реакций впервые синтезированы фазы переменного состава в системе Ba3-xSrxY(BO3)3, 0<х< 3. Рентгеногpафически (дифрактометр D-8 Advance, CuKα-излучение, графитовый монохроматор) установлено образование в исследованной области концентраций двух рядов твердых растворов, кристаллизующихся в различных структурных типах.
