Selective extraction of actinides using EEBEHBA grafted polymer: an efficient process for nuclear spent fuel reprocessing

  • 1. Dept. of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (India)

Description

In the current research work, a new amide grafted polymer has been developed to an inert polymer support via an ether linkage and its ability to selectively extract uranium and thorium was studied and successfully applied to synthetic low level nuclear reprocessing mixtures and also with real samples like monazite sand
