Heat capacity study of the (La-Ce)Ru2Si2 and (Ce-Y)Ru2Si2 Kondo systems

Description
Low temperature heat capacity measurements on the (La-Ce)Ru2Si2 and (Ce-Y)Ru2Si2 systems disclose a Kondo behaviour competing with magnetism: spontaneous magnetization hinders the heavy fermion behaviour at weak Kondo coupling in (LaCe)Ru2Si2, while strong Kondo coupling in (Ce-Y)Ru2Si2 removes any local moment regime.
