Method to solidify waste materials such as aqueous solutions containing radioactive or toxic substances
Description
A method is proposed to solidify aqueous solutions containing radioactive or toxic substances. The aqueous solution which may also be strongly acidic or basic, is mixed with gypsum and water glass (1kg gypsum : 100 to 500ml water glass) and poured into a container for solidification. One example on a laboratory scale is given. (UWI)

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Verfestigen waessriger Loesungen, die radioaktive oder toxische Stoffe enthalten, vorgeschlagen. Die waessrige Loesung, die auch stark sauer oder basisch sein kann, wird mit Gips und Wasserglas versetzt (1kg Gips : 100 bis 500ml Wasserglas), gemischt und in Behaelter gegossen zur Verfestigung. Ein Beispiel mit Labormassstab ist gegeben. (UWI)Files
