Statistics of the Swiss electricity supply industry for 1980
Description
This is an exhaustive energy audit on electricity generation, utilisation and costs for 1980. Historical consumption analyses are presented from 1950 and seasonal variations are plotted. It is indicated that approximately 25% of Swiss electrical energy was from nuclear power stations in 1980 and only 2% from oil. Regional variations are tabulated and detailed data on hydro-power is presented. Financial information is also given. (G.M.E.)
