Elastic and inelastic scatterinq of light ions by atomic nuclei in the intermetallic energy range

Description

Based on the diffraction model he behaviour of differential cross sections, nuclear scatteping phase and qUantUm deViation function following elastic and inelastic 4He puclei scattering on atomic nuclei at energies E> or approximately 25 MeV/nucleon is investigated. Analytical expressions for the amplitudes of elastic and inelastic scattering, scattering matrix nuclear portion, nuclear scattering phase responsible for the refraction of the scattered wave are obtained. The elastic and inelastic scattering differential cross sections of 2-particles with 139 MeV energy by 58Ni nuclei theoretically analyzed. The calculation results are shown in diagrams. The performed calculatiops show that the proper choice of the nuclear scattering phase permits to describe with one set of parameters of elastic and inelastic α-particles scattering by nUclei in the E> or approximately 100 MeV energy range which in this energy range have a character of iridescent scattering
