Training in radiological protection - a pool of practical exercises
Description
The exercise described provides practical experience for people who may be involved in the location of a 'lost' radiography source. It covers an appreciation of the capabilities and suitability of monitoring equipment, together with its practical use. It uses a small radioactive source and modified monitoring equipment to achieve realistic effects whilst minimising doses. (author)
