Comparison between the string tension measured from LWL and WLC
Description
The difference between string tension measured from large Wilson loops and correlation of Wilson lines is explained and corrected by using analytic results for large Wilson loops and correlation of Wilson lines derived from a simplified string model for strongly confined QCD. Excellent agreement between the Monte Carlo data and the theoretical results is found. (orig.)
