Review on the study of reaction between UO2 and Zr(or Zry)
Description
Evaluation of chemical interaction between UO2 and Zr(or Zry) under isothermal and transient conditions are performed. It includes conditions to start reaction, phases formed, thicknesses of phase layer and sequence of reaction layers. Reaction rates obey a parabolic line law. The relationship between the reaction layer growth and temperature may be given by Arrhenius plot
