Electrooptic diffraction in polydomain barium-sodium niobate crystals

Description
Two types of field-driven light diffraction in barium-sodium niobate crystals (BSN) with lamellar domain structure are studied theoretically and experimentally. The relation of these effects to the physical properties of inhomogeneous ferroelectric crystals is investigated. (author)
