Description
SSPB has in recent years built up a nuclear fuel department (NFD) serving our 4 BWR and 3 PWR and handling everything in the fuel cycle except waste. NFD works with the concrete ambition to minimize the company's fuel cycle cost fulfilling given requirements on energy output, reactor safety, operating constraints etc. The paper focuses on the administration of fuel management work reflecting the fact that the authors are doing most of it themselves. Thus, they describe the organisation and policy of SSPB in the nuclear fuel area, and the QA manual and the QC activities at NFD
