Description
We have measured by SQUID magnetometry the temperature and magnetic field dependence of the critical current density of high quality thin films of YBaCuO 123. By high resolution electron microscopy, we have studied the defects which are possibly at the origin of the pinning. We have shown that there is no simple matching between the density of pinned vortices and the defects. (orig.)
