Creators
Description
Observations of the ionosphere from the Antarctic using the Advanced Ionospheric Sounder at the Halley Station are briefly described. The instrument comprises a powerful pulse transmitter operating under the interactive control of a minicomputer and two slave microcomputers and provides a complete description of the ionospheric echoes as a function of frequency and time.
