Description
The reflection spectra of CdSb and ZnSb single crystals were measured at 80 and 293 K over the range from 1 to 5 eV (polarization E parallel a, E parallel b, E parallel c). The samples were grown from the melt and represent large mirror-like cleavages with the (100) plane or polished crystals with the (010) plane. For the first time the most correct spectra with very complex polarized structures were determined due to the more perfect samples and precise spectral equipment. The strongly anisotropic spectra of both crystals are quite similar and are composed of twenty seven peaks for ZnSb and thirty two-for CdSb. The peaks obtained are caused by the direct interband transitions. The groups of related transitions of CdSb and ZnSb with the identical or very close nature were established. The high influence of the temperature was detected
