Study of a high temperature nuclear power plant incorporating a non-integrated indirect cycle gas turbine
- 1. Swiss Fed Inst for React Res, Wuerenlingen, Switz
Description
A demonstration plant design is described for a nuclear power station with a high temperature reactor and high power helium turbine, based on a study for erecting a 1640MW HTR plant in Switzerland. An evaluation is made of the various advantages and disadvantages of this design. The circuit temperature was chosen such that all components could be made with present day technology
