Some peculiarities of the technique for measurements in prospecting boreholes by pulsed neutron-neutron logging with two spacings

Description

The technique for measurements by pulsed neutron-neutron logging with two spacings in oil and gas boreholes for identification of strata and determination of the character of the saturating hydrocarbon is presented. It is shown that the neutron diffusion parameters connected separately with the hydrogen content and chloric content can be represented in a qualitative and a quantitative forms in case of measurements of neutron densities with two spacings. The combined application of the neutron parameters - a life-time of thermal neutrons and diffusion coefficient of thermal neutrons - increases the efficiency of identification of reservoirs determination of their saturation character in borehole sections
