Description
Measurements of the distribution of the magnetic induction in the current-induced resistive state (T>Tsub(c); I>Isub(c) of cylindrical Sn samples indicate that the radius of the intermediate state core is dependent on the current flowing along the cylinders and follows the equation derived by Samualsen. Another Samuelsen's equation describing the magnetic induction distribution in the normal state shell is valid also for the sample in an external transversal magnetic field if the translation of the intermediate state core is introduced into the equation.
