Highlights: • Compressed sensing - Sensitivity encoding (CS-SENSE) technique reduce in motion artifact and scan time. • CS-SENSE and SENSE show no difference in image quality. • CS-SENSE has priority to SENSE in patients with neurovascular compression syndrome. -- Abstract: To retrospectively compare sensitivity encoding (SENSE) and compressed sensing-sensitivity encoding (CS-SENSE) for high resolution (HR) cranial nerve magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in a clinical population.
