Oxidative addition of hydrogen in the reduced Mo/Al2O3 catalysts

Description
The molybdenum electron structure in the Mo/Al2O3 catalysts, obtained by application of the oxalate and acetylacetone molybdenum complexes on the substrate from the aluminium oxide and thermally treated in the hydrogen and carbon oxide atmosphere is studied through the method of the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It is shown that formation of the surface structures, wherein the molybdenum formal oxidation degree corresponds to the +6 value, is observed at the temperature of 500 deg C. The assumed molybdenum surface hydrides are thermally sufficiently stable and decompose at the temperatures above 400 deg C

Методом рентгеновской фотоэлектронной спектроскопии изучено электронное строение молибдена в катализаторах Mo/Al2O3, полученных нанесением оксалатных и ацетилацетонатных комплексов молибдена на подложку из оксида алюминия и термически обработанных в атмосфере водорода и оксида углерода. Показано, что при температуре 500 град С наблюдается образование поверхностных структур, в которых формальная степень окисления молибдена соответствует значению +6.
