Description
The research on plasma confinement has advanced greatly in recent years, with the plan that an experimental fusion reactor will be developed for ten years hence, and a practical one even within the present century. The nuclear data required for the development of nuclear fusion reactors are explained as follows: types of nuclear data; fusion-reaction cross sections; nuclear data on neutrons and gamma ray in irradiation, etc.; and present status of fusion nuclear data and accuracy requirements.
