Extraction of lanthanide nitrates

Description
The process of nitrate extraction is investigated by means of TBP. A better separation of lanthanides was found while applying LiNo3 as salting out agent as compared with NH4NO3. The presented investigations corroborate the research work of Korpusov who limited himself solely to light lanthanides. The operating mechanism of salted routs should be linked according to the author's opinion of this contribution with the complexing mechanism during the aqueous phase. (author)
