12C(γ,p)11B reaction in the 40-120 MeV energy range

Description
The energy dependence of the total cross section and the angular distributions of protons were measured in the range from 40 to 120 MeV with the aid of a diffusion chamber interposed in a beam of bremsstrahlung photons from a 360 MeV linear accelerator. An analysis of the data produced the total cross section of electrical dipole absorption and asymmetry of the angular distributions. The results were compared with the data on two-particle photosplitting of 4He, 3He, and 2H nuclei with proton yield
