On the quantization of the Liouville equation
Description
It has been recently shown that the Liouville theorem is directly connected with the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics. Starting from this fact, it is natural to investigate the quantized Liouville equation and try to interpret the results. To this end, the correspondence principle and the well-known property of gauge invariance are used. (author)
