Infinite N phase transitions on one-plaquette (2 + 1)-dimensional models of lattice gauge theory with Manton's action
Description
Pure gluon U(N) lattice gauge theory is solved by the transfer matrix method in a semiclassical approximation for Manton's action showing a third order phase transition at lambdasub(c) = g2N = π2/2√2. (orig.)
