Description
The results of calculation of light gluino contributions to hadronic decay widths of the Z boson and τ lepton to O(α3s) are presented. The net effect in the case of Z decay is noticeable. For the τ width the effect is very large and, if a light gluino exists, suggests that αs increases by more than 15% relative to the standard model analysis. copyright 1997 The American Physical Society
