A first article comments the creation by the European Commission of a unified classification system (the European Taxonomy) to orient market investments in sustainable economic activities, and discusses the fact that nuclear energy is excluded from this taxonomy whereas its environmental qualities are acknowledged. The second article comments the release of a text by the European Council which defends the concept of 'technological neutrality' which leaves the door opened for nuclear energy in the European label for green investments (the so-called taxonomy), and more particularly evokes the opposition between Paris and Berlin, and the consensus about deep geological storage.
