Inelastic neutron scattering of exchange coupled molecular Cr3+ tetramers

Description
Inelastic neutron scattering experiments have been performed in deuterated [Cr4(OH)6(NH3)12]Cl6 x 4H2O uisng a time-of-flight instrument at ILL. The spectra exhibit a large amount of fine structure. The peaks are assigned to magnetic excitations within the exchange split ground state. Intracluster exchange parameters can be accurately determined. (orig.)
