Combination of dense PVD and thick plasma sprayed ceramic coatings

Description
The combined PVD (magnetron sputtering) and plasma sprayed surface coatings made of ZrO2 and Y2O3 ceramics have been investigated. The microstructure, porosity and mechanical properties of coatings were determined. Corrosion resistance in different temperatures have been also studied. (author)
