- 1. Fukuyama National Hospital, Hiroshima (Japan)
Description
Between October 1996 and January 2001, 132 patients underwent video-assisted thoracic surgery for evaluation of CT-detected peripheral pulmonary nodules. Of these 132 patients, 60 patients had well-circumscribed peripheral pulmonary nodules. The pathologic diagnosis were intrapulmonary lymph nodes in 12 (20%) of the 60 patients had well-circumscribed peripheral pulmonary nodules. We assess the size, position, and radiographic features of these intrapulmonary lymph nodes and review the literature. (author)
