Separation of magnetization precession in 3He-B into two domains
Description
It is demonstrated that even a small deviation of the magnetic field from homogeneity results in superfluid 3He-B in an appreciable modification of the state corresponding to magnetization precession. A structure consisting of two domains is formod in a field with linear inhomogeneity. In one of the domains the maanetization is rotated throUgh an angle of about 104 deg whereas in the second domain it is parallel to the field. The existence of such structures can explain the anomalously long life-time of the induction signal in the 3He-B. Relaxation of the structure can explain the time variation of the induction signal frequency observed by Borovik-Romanov, Bun'kov, Dmitriev and Mukharsky
