Surface oscillations of a magneto-active plasma
Description
The article deals with plasma oscillations of a wavelength which is large in comparison with the characteristic dimension of inhomogeneity of the plasma. Conditions are given for the existence and build-up of such oscillations, and possibilities of stabilizing them are indicated. The influence of collisions between charged particles and neutrals on surface oscillations is considered.
