Investigation and studies on utilization of risk information for safety classification
Description
In Japan utilization of quantitative risk information in decision making on nuclear safety has been studied. The report compiled results of investigation of relevant regulatory guide, federal registers and industrial guideline on safety classification of structures, systems and components (SSC) in the US and identified anticipated issues to be studied in introduction and practical applications of risk-informed approach in Japan.
