On the role of aquatic organisms in biogenic migration of metals and other matter

  • 1. MGU im. M.V. Lomonosova, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The data are given that are helpful contribution to the assessment of the role of aquatic organisms (especially mollusks) in biogenic migration of matter including metals and other elements. New data are included on the elemental composition of aquatic bivalves. The bivalves were collected from both freshwater and marine ecosystems. We also study the role of plants in biogenic transfer of matter in aquatic systems
