Generation of 0.2-TW proton pulses
- 1. Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D. C. 20375
Description
Results are reported on the generation of MeV, pulsed ion beams at a peak power level in excess of 2 x 1011 W that have an angular divergence of about 30--40. Such beams can be used in the formation of field-reversing proton rings
