Development of a 3-D CAD system for PHWR operation and maintenance

Description

In this study, a 3-D CAD system for PHWR operation and maintenance has been developed. The developed system consists of '3-D CAD program of PHWR' and 'Database for GFP/DN system'. The former is a virtual reality simulation program for PHWR developed by using the 3-D computer graphic tool. The latter is a database program that records the operation data of PHWR during normal operating and is linked with the 3-D CAD program. The developed system could provide visual information and operating history of each component of PHWR so that it might be used as a training material to the operator and provide basic data and results for the emergency state of PHWR
