Experimental study on the WWER fuel behaviour in research reactors and shielded hot cells

  • 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Atomnykh Reaktorov, Dimitrovgrad (Russian Federation)

Description

Some experimental results of post-irradiation examination of WWER-1000 fuel are given. A complex of technical means and methods, which are used for investigation of all stages of fuel defect appearance and development, is presented. This complex comprises the SM-2, MIR and VK-50 reactors and the hot laboratory. (author). 3 refs, 20 figs, 2 tabs
