Development of low power physics tests

Description
Development of low power physics tests and PWR core characteristic parameter measurements by reactivity meter in reactor are explained. A new method of estimation for moderator temperature coefficient using Fourier Transform and a dynamic rod worth measurement method are stated. The main measurement apparatus for low power physics tests, test items and outline of tests are explained. On measurement examples, the moderate temperature coefficient of core, the integral control rod worth, change of reactivity at measurement of control rod worth and the isothermal coefficient are shown. Comparison between results of measurement and calculation of the isothermal coefficients and the control rod worth are indicated. (S.Y.)

PWR炉物理検査の手法については、測定精度向上、測定操作簡素化の観点から高度化が進められている。炉物理検査は定期検査上検のクリティカルパスであることから、原子炉の稼働率向上の観点から測定時間を短縮するための努力を続けている。BWRにおいては近年、PWR炉物理検査にて使用する原子炉反応度計を使用した制御棒価値や等温温度係数の測定を試験的に実施している。本稿では、PWRにおける最近の炉物理検査の進展および原子炉反応度計によるBWR炉心特性パラメータの測定について紹介する。(日本)Additional details
