The quest for supersymmetry
Description
A plausible extension of the standard model involves the possibility that supersymmetry may be exact at energies as low as a few TeV. In that case the theory predicts a plethora of new particles with masses ranging from a few GeV to several TeV. In these lectures a summary is given of the searches for these superpartners, as well as their experimental signatures. It is also pointed out which experiments are likely to detect these particles. 135 refs.; 57 figs.; 4 tabs
