On ΛΣ conversion in sub(Λ)sup(4)H and sup(4)sub(Λ)He
Description
The effect of ΛΣ conversion on the binding energy, Bsub(Λ), of sub(Λ)sup(4)H and sub(Λ)sup(4)He is calculated in the ''hyperon + rigid 3N core'' model. For a ΛN potential derived from sub(Λ)sup(4)He, we obtain 1.6 MeV for the excitation energy of the J=1 state, and a very small negative contribution to Bsub(Λ)(sub(Λ)sup(4)He)-Bsub(Λ)(sub(Λ)sup(4)H) due to Coulomb interaction of Σ+ and Σ-.
