Polarization of liquid zinc and solid molybdenum cathodes in melted scandium-containing chlorides

Description
By taking polarization curves, the behaviour of scandium and iron ions during electrolysis of melted chlorides, using zinc and solid molybdenum cathodes, is studied. It is shown that the Fe-Sc system is characterized by the existence of a strong Fe2Sc intermetallic compound
