Inclusive spectra of electroproduced K+ mesons

Description

Measurements of kaon electroproduction from a hydrogen target carried out at DESY are reported. The invariant cross section for the reaction ep → eK+ + anything is given as a function of the variables q2, W, x, [p(transverse)]2 and phi in the following region: -0.5<q2<-0.1Gev2, 2.0<W<2.8 GeV, 0.3<x<1.0, [p(transverse)]2<0.25 GeV2, 00<phi<3600. Finally the data are compared with a quark-parton model. (Auth.)
