Dependence of heavy nucleus fission probability on nucleon composition

Description

Given is a summary of experimental data on the ratio of average neutral and fission widths for low-excited states of nuclei in the range of 88<=Z<99, 225<=A<=253, revealing considerable deviation from the known systematics of the fission probability. Carried out is the analysis which shows that the causes of discrepancy with the experiment and applicability limits for the systematics are defined by simplifications neglicting the shell structure of the fission barrier and its reconstruction with the energy
