New generalized Ward-Takahashi identities in gauge theories

Description

In this paper, a geometrical interpretation to Faddeev-Popov fields and Becchi-Rouet-Stora transformations is reported. As a result of the mathematical structure, an invariance of the action in gauge theories, associated to a new BRS transformation, does appear. This transformation generalizes a particular one previously introduced by Curci and Ferrari. The generalized Ward-Takahashi identities related to the new invariance are computed. (author)
