Qualitative and quantitative analysis of ground waters for total reflection (FRXRT) using X-ray fluorescence technique

The present work shows the possibilities of the technique of X-ray fluorescence for Total Reflection (FRXRT) for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of ground waters and surface waters. 4 samples were analyzed from the waters of Mariscal Estigarribia, Ciudad del Este and San Juan Bautista de las Misiones. Three replicas of each sample were placed on reflectors of quartz silicone and analyzed by Total Reflection with the X-ray tube that works with a source of tension - 40 kw and 20 MA and Silicon-Lithium [Si-Li] detector. As internal standard Gallium (Ga) was used

El presente trabajo muestra las posibilidades de la tecnica de Fluorescencia de Rayos X por Reflexion Total (FRXRT) para el analisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de aguas subterraneas y superficiales. Se analizaron 4 muestras de aguas de Mariscal Estigarribia, Ciudad del Este y San Juan Bautista, Misiones. Tres replicas de cada muestra fueron colocadas sobre reflectores de cuarzo siliconado y analizadas por Reflexion Total con el tubo de Rayos X que trabaja con una fuente de tension - corriente a 40 kV y 20 mA y detector de Silicio Litio [Si(Li)]. Como estandar interno se uso el Galio (Ga)
