Study of ternary system of KF-BeF2-DyF3

Description
With the aid of the differential thermal and X-ray phase analysis methods the state diagrams of the BeF2-DyF3 system and of eight polythermal sections of the ternary system KF-BeF2-DyF3 have been studied. A scheme of the state diagram of the ternary system KF-BeF2-DyF3 has been plotted. The formation of incongruently melting compound KBeDyF6 has been found to take place. Parameters of its elementary cell are given. The vitrification region in the ternary system KF-BeF2-DyF3 has been determined
